Platina Resources (ASX Ticker: PGM) is an international resource company based in Queensland, Australia, focused on the exploration and development of a global portfolio of Platinum Group Metal (PGM) and gold projects. Platina has been listed on the ASX since May 2006 and has assembled a dedicated international team with specific experience in the PGM and gold sectors.
The Company’s core focus is on two advanced, 100%-owned PGM/gold projects which are currently at Scoping/Pre-Feasibility stage – the Skaergaard Project in Greenland and the Munni Munni Project in Western Australia.
Together, these projects contain a world-class mineral resource inventory comprising 10.4 million ounces of gold, 30.7 million ounces of palladium, 2.8 million ounces of platinum and 76,000 ounces of rhodium (Australian JORC Code and Canadian 43-101 compliant).
Platina’s aim is to create shareholder value by advancing these Projects into production as rapidly as possible.
In the longer term, the Company’s objective is to discover new world-class mineral deposits in Greenland – a largely under-explored but rapidly emerging mineral province which offers excellent opportunities for major new discoveries.
